About
Hello! I’m an actor and visual artist based in Naarm, Melbourne, with a deep love for animals that’s at the heart of everything I create. My passion for animals and animal rights inspires much of my work, which spans ink, charcoal, graphite and coloured pencil drawings, as well as acrylic paintings in a colourful, bold and minimalist style.
Encouraged by my family, I’ve been creating art since childhood—but in 2024, I made the leap to transform a lifelong passion into something much more than just a hobby, and I’ve been loving this incredible journey so far—the experience and the learning, but mostly the wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with.
Thanks for visiting my site. I hope these beautiful, cute and cheeky creatures bring you as much joy as I had creating them.
Where to find me
My paintings have been displayed at Untether Gallery, Fitzroy Art Collective and Blackcat Cafe, and are available to purchase through Bluethumb (Australia’s leading online art gallery).
I occasionally have a stall at the Rose Street Artist’s Market and will soon be appearing at Younghusband Market and CRFT*WRK at the Queen Victoria Market. Follow me on Instagram @salmeart for future market dates, promos and updates on new artwork.

Environmental Sustainability
I care deeply about animals and our natural world, and I’m committed to minimising my environmental impact wherever possible. Every effort has been made to choose supplies and packaging materials that are as eco-friendly as I can source.
All art prints are produced by a local art printer using environmentally friendly 100% cotton rag acid-free paper, which is fibre based—meaning it’s fully recyclable. The greeting cards are printed on 100% recycled paper, and along with the 100% recycled kraft envelopes are fully recyclable. Both greeting cards and mugs are proudly printed in Australia.
Packaging is a thoughtful mix of biodegradable and recyclable materials, and I also reuse materials—such as bubble wrap—whenever possible to reduce waste. While the protective sleeves used for prints are currently recyclable through soft plastic recycling programs, I’m actively seeking a biodegradable alternative. Greeting cards are not individually wrapped in plastic sleeves.
Sustainability is an ongoing journey, and I’m always open to learning and improving. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, I’d love to hear from you!
