Storage

Original artwork will arrive wrapped in acid-free glassine paper. Until the artwork is framed, it is best left wrapped in the glassine paper and stored flat in a cool, dry room away from direct sunlight.

Handle artwork with care at all times. Ensure hands are clean and dry (or use gloves), and support the piece gently by its edges to avoid any damage from oils, dirt or fingerprints.

Framing

It is recommended that paper artwork (originals and prints) be framed under glass (or other glazing material) with a mat/mount or spacers. This allows air circulation between the artwork and glass, which prevents condensation that can lead to mould and mildew.

The mat/spacers also prevent the artwork sticking to the glass.

Avoid hanging artwork in direct sunlight (to prevent the colours from fading), areas of humidity (such as the bathroom or kitchen), or areas of heat sources (such as above fireplaces or radiators).

Framing is not offered for postal deliveries as they are fragile and prone to breakage during transit, which can in turn damage the artwork itself. Choosing your own frame will allow you to match the piece with your decor for a more personalised and cohesive look.

Cleaning

Never use cleaning products or water as they can damage the artwork. A clean soft brush (e.g. makeup brush) can be used to gently remove any dust on artwork.
