Horsing Around
Charcoal on acid-free A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm / 8.3” x 11.7”).
Who knew horses had so many chin whiskers?! They use them along with their snout’s high concentration of sensory nerves to explore their environment the way humans do with their hands. I used charcoal pencil to capture the smooth, velvety texture of its snout. This sweet darling is either feeling playful, or is looking for a treat!
